Jr Youth

Jr Youth Fridays

A fun night to bring out your friends! Starts with open gym and games room, followed by the main event which is a different activity each week, then closes with a devotional time. We have a parents team that runs every second Fri night and encourage all parents to help with that. This is an easy and fun way to help stay connected with your youth. Grade 9’s are welcome to participate for another year. 

Jr youth programs will run from 7:00pm – 9:00pm.

Sunday Discipleship

A youth discipleship class that rotates between activities. Two Sundays/month are youth services with time for worship, teaching, prayer, and small groups. One Sunday is serving in a ministry of choice. One week is an option of choice to develop an area of interest like worship band, sound and tech, art, drama, photography, movie making, etc. Meet in the youth room upstairs.

Sr. Youth

Sunday Mornings

Join the adult service for the amazing worship, teaching and altar ministry that is provided there. We also encourage all SR Youth to find a Sunday Ministry where they can serve 1or 2 / month.  
Sunday Nights: 7-9pm:  Parents, are welcome to help as leaders and if your home is available 1/month please let us know. Returns Sept 9th.

Sunday Night 7:00 - 9:00 pm

Meet at the church for a night of hanging out with friends and pursing God together. 1/month is guys and girls nights meeting in leaders homes. For more information contact James Rea at james.r@rolchurch.ca.
 

Kaio Drama

Grades 7-12

Kaio ministries uses drama as a ministry outlet. Involvement includes weekly practices with devotional elements on Saturday mornings, occasional fund raising events, participation in the annual Christmas Musical production and opportunity for local ministry events and trips. Parents are welcome to help and are needed as chaperones on trips.

Youth Mission Trip

Grades 7-12

Mexico 2013: After a tremendous experience working with Jerry Label this past summer in Tecate Mexico, we are looking forward to returning with a team in summer of 2013, first 2 weeks of July. This trip offers a variety of experiences including some manual labour, a kids soccer camp in a ghetto area, ministry in local churches & youth groups, street evangelism, and many other wonderful experiences. Trip costs are around $1200/person and include fund raising opportunities to help raise those funds. All team members must be regularly involved in their youth program at ROL, serve in a ministry of ROL, and participate in the monthly team meetings once they begin. Jr Youth (grades 7 & 8) may participate if a parent is also part of the team. There will be a cap on team size so if interested please let us know as we will have to work on a first come basis.
