Young Families

Young Family Ministry is of great importance here at ROL. We see the importance of equipping parents with the tools they need to be disciples of Christ as well as training their children to be his disciples too. Because of this importance, we have developed a few ministries that we hope will lead you in this goal.

Family Events

The goal for family events is twofold:

 - to help families pursue God as families (worshiping, praying, learning and serving together)

 - to help families connect with other families

Family Events bring help and passion to pursuing God as families.  As parents we are often overwhelmed with the many responsibilities that fill our lives, and leading our families spiritually can easily get neglected.  Family Events set the stage for parents to be successful by providing a time to practice praying, worshiping, and learning together.  Perhaps the greatest help of all is the excitement and motivation it generates in our kids!  Family Events are also a great opportunity to meet and spend time with many other families that are part of our church body here at ROL. Contact Pastor Jep at jep.b@rolchurch.ca for more information.

 

Pop In

Come and join us in the morning, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. We meet between 10am-12pm on Tuesday and Friday and between 9-11am on Wednesdays for coffee and a chance to connect with other Moms. Kids are provided with a snack and the opportunity to let off steam in the gym. We get together at River of Life Church for most of the year and then for the months of July and August we "Pop-out" and do different activities outside in our community (parks, trips to Park Lake, Broxburn Gardens etc.). We look forward to seeing you!

Stork Ministry

NEW BABY CELEBRATION Two or three times a year we will hold a party/celebration to welcome all our new babies. Each family will receive gifts donated from many generous businesses in our community. As well, each of the ladies who attend are asked to bring a financial donation that will be shared among all the families celebrated on that day. Contact Jackie Matchett for more information.
