Our missions program is not something we’re trying to do, but is something we hope simply flows out of who we are. Our awareness of God’s love for us combined with an understanding of who we are in Christ as full fledged children of God and ambassadors of His kingdom, compels us to reach others with the good news of the Gospel of Christ and His love for us, whether here in Lethbridge or elsewhere. In reality, we are all called to be missionaries, whether locally to our neighbors and co-workers, or in the farthest corners of the world.

Guiding our missions practices are what we call “The Five Pillars of ROL Missions,” stemming from Jesus’ own life and practice.

The Five Pillars of ROL Missions

  • To go with the Gospel
  • To where the need is greatest (to the poor and vulnerable)
  • Where we can build Jesus’ Church,
  • Practicing there what we first practice at home,
  • And train the next generation of leaders
