1:30 Service
Every Sunday we have a Christian Essentials service that reaches out to the Nepali/Bhutanese immigrant community in our city. Volunteers are needed to help with the bus ministry at the 1:30 service (see below), make tea and prepare snacks, and build relationships with the people who attend the service. Contact Amos at amos.m@rolchurch.ca if you're interested in helping.

Free childcare is provided if requested in advance, or you may register them in Divorce Care for Kids. Each week we watch a video and engage in small group discussions on such topics as anger, depression, loneliness and raising children so you are welcome to join anytime. The registration fee of $30 covers workbook and snacks. Subsidies available if required.

Soup Kitchen
As Christians we are to follow in the footsteps of Jesus reaching out to all people. Soup kitchen volunteers meet the second Monday of each month between 8:30 am & 1:00 pm to prepare a meal for the less fortunate. Volunteers can come anytime during these hours to help prepare, serve or clean up. This is a great opportunity to serve and build relationships. The Soup Kitchen is located at 8 Street & 2 Avenue North.

As a response to the Scriptures, the Lord has given us a clear mandate for Freedom Ministry at River of Life. This is an opportunity to attract others to the Kingdom of God in a non-threatening atmosphere. Freedom Ministry touches the inmate population of the Lethbridge Correctional Centre.
